Description[]

An older man with an unremarkable appearance. His hair is parted on the left with greying strands combed across his forehead. The eyes are hooded and dark, ending in prominent crow's feet. He keeps himself clean shaven and his jaw tapers down to a weak chin. His suits are always plain black or brown, inexpensive and off-the-rack.

Hooks[]

  • Comrade Vogt is head of the secret police, the so-called Minister of Praxis Security. Now hiring. Perks include spiffy uniforms and jackboots, all the better to quash dissidents with.
  • Information. Do your part for the Praxis by submitting information about your fellow citizens.
  • Spies. “If you agree to work for us, half the time you won't know the purpose of your duties . . . and when we do explain, we might not be telling the truth. ” ― James Alan Gardner, Trapped
  • Re-education. Questioning your loyalty to the State? Maybe you could use a new perspective.

Rumours[]

  • What's next? The Thought Police? I wouldn't put it past Comrade Vogt.
  • That neonate was seen in Elysium spouting Imperialist propaganda. At dawn he received a knock on his door from Comrade Vogt, as you do. A few nights later that very same neonate returned, glassy-eyed and staunchly, utterly convinced of the Cause.
